MaYA Admin John Gauci meets Portugese politician António José Seguro

Hey MaYA supporters and fans,

hope you're all having a great summer!

Well, some of you might know that one our MaYA admins, John Gauci is currently in Portugal. John, is gaining a lot of experience working at the Quality Control Department at Vale da Rosa, a company in Alentejo. Vale da Rosa employs more than 900 persons and produces quality table grapes. A total of twelve table grape varieties are cultivated on the estates, six of which are seedless.

Last week John was taken by surprise when António José Seguro, a Portugese politician from the Socialist Party visited the enterprise Vale da Rosa. Challenges currently being faces in the agriculture industry in Portugal have been discussed during the visit by Seguro.

To learn more about this, visit the link below from Correio Alentejo. The photos shows António José Seguro shaking hands with John Gauci at the grape packaging station.
